Version 2.0 of KissMyBrass.net will be launching very, very soon. With it comes a more clean, simplified design, better integration with my ever-popular podcast, more interactivity and other features I’m still working on. The blog engine is 100% custom, as will be most of what runs on the surface of the site. I’m also contemplating ads, in additional to the Google AdSense ones, to try and maximise revenue. Unlike other sites that bombard you with them, a simple cookie function will banish them from your sight forever.

I’ve also been contemplating splitting this site into two pieces, making this my personal site and using my other domain to host the podcast. Doing so would let me add more community-style features, like polling and user forums. For the time being, though, the two will coexist together, but the future may warrant a change. We’ll see what happens.
