Xbox Update

After receiving an additional 20 Xbox 360 consoles, and promptly selling them on eBay, I’m pleased to report to my loyal audience of two that all units have sold.

The median average selling price for each unit was around $1,300, though a handful went for upwards of $2,000. Two sold for $2,500. One for $3,110.

After the final counting was complete, we walked away with $46,000 in revenue for the 30 units sold. Excluding tax and shipping costs, our approximate profit is $34,200. When the cost of shipping (paid by the auction winner) is factored in to the equation, we’ve nearly broke even on each unit.

Once the American Express bill is paid, and everything is accounted for, our final profit projection looks to be $33,400. Not bad, considering the cost of the 30 units at SRP is $11,800.

So, I’d like to thank those who purchased the units, and my friends and family for helping me coordinate this. My little business venture, dubbed Xflop, Inc., certainly paid off.

Happy Holidays!

Make that four - and nice way of paying off the quad - very ingenious…

Make that five. I’m in Palm Beach, north of you. Just found your site from Andrew Escobar.
