Small Wonder
In a moment of pure brash exuberance, I braved the lines and bought my very own Sony PSP today. Five of them, actually. Why five? One for me, one for Bryan and three are headed for eBay. It’s not that I need a portable gaming device. Nor does it do much of anything else. And, since it uses proprietary UMD media cartridge/CD things that are reminiscent of the BetaMax days, who knows if it will last? We could have a Nintendo DS versus PSP competition on our hands, like VHS versus Beta back in the 80s.
My biggest rant in using the device, though, is the inclusion of white earbuds! What gives? Trying to move in on Apple’s spotlight, eh Sony?
But, PSP is in, it’s cool and everybody wants one. (At least now.) And I always keep my eye out for a quick way to turn a profit.
My three will be listed on eBay tonight. If you’d like to buy one prior to the commencement of bidding, please comment here or e-mail me.
UPDATE: The 3 PSP units I had for sale have sold before listing them on eBay. Thanks to my readers for the quick response.
Why is all the text on your site centered?
Woops! Just noticed that on certain browsers. My jhtml was echoing certain session data into the source that apparently wasn’t liked by Firefox and other Mozilla browsers. (at least on the Mac.) It’s fixed now.
