Happy 4th of July!

To all my friends and family, a happy and healthy 4th of July. Enjoy the above photo — taken during this evening’s festivities in Washington, DC.

Photo: Spring Is Here

It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? I am still alive, and have been settling in comfortably to my new life. Work has been busy, and my nights and weekends have been spent working out “glitches” with my new home. (New construction is always filled with surprises.) Photo: Denver Art Museum

Snapped during a recent trip up to Denver. Renowned architect Daniel Libeskind designed the Frederic C. Hamilton addition to the Denver Art Museum, seen above. Opened in October of 2006, the beautiful new building is clad in titanium and glass.

Photo: Flatirons

Found inside Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Colorado, the famous foothills known as the Flatirons are a series of beautiful sandstone formations with great hiking and climbing trails. This photo was captured last summer, and is part of my Colorado gallery.

In the foreground […]

Photo: Pinecones

Taken at a lake near the summit of Pikes Peak. This image is part of my new Colorado photo gallery of people, places and things I’ve captured through the years of visiting [and now living in!] this amazing state.
